Seapoint Beach in Dublin, Irish Sea
Beach name: Seapoint Beach
Reservoir name : Irish Sea, Dublin Bay
Location: Dublin (Leinster Province), Ireland
Seapoint Beach is a sandy and pebbly beach with a long, flat bottom. Due to the tides that occur on site, the best conditions for bathing occur during high water levels. During high tides, the water is quite shallow, but you should be careful when walking on the pebbly shore that can be just below the water surface. The northern part of the beach is particularly popular with beachgoers and here you will find several flat descents with handrails that should make it easier for everyone to get into the water. The southern side of the bathing area is popular with kayaking and other water sports enthusiasts. In the season, the place is guarded by lifeguards, and there are catering points on site. An additional attraction is the historic "Martello Tower" located on site, which was part of the fortifications built to protect against Napoleon's troops. The beach has the Blue Flag and Green Coast distinctions, proving the above-average quality of the bathing area.
