Beaches in Sochi, Black Sea
Beach name: Sochi Beach
Reservoir name : Black Sea
Location: Sochi (Krasnodar Krai), Russian Federation
Sochi is the most popular Russian resort located on the Black Sea. Some sources report that this city stretching for 147 kilometers is the longest in the world. Due to its attractive location, between the mountains and the sea, Sochi has spacious beaches (with a total length of about 118 kilometers), which are protected from cold northern winds by the Caucasus Mountains, thanks to which the coast has a warm subtropical climate. The bathing season lasts from the beginning of May to the end of October, and the temperature can reach up to 29 degrees Celsius. The surrounding beaches are diverse, depending on the region we are using. In the Lazarevsky district, the beaches have rocky surfaces and reach up to 400 meters in width. The beaches of the Central district encourage relaxation with their easily accessible and comfortable beaches, on which there is a sensationally developed infrastructure for water sports. In the Hostinsky district, we will find both rocky and sandy beaches, where both lovers of active recreation and quiet relaxation on one of the wild beaches will feel good. The Adler district is also characterized by having various beaches, from small rocky ones to wide sandy ones.
